AAAEA Capital Area Hosts Successful Workshop to Develop Roadmap for Future Growth on March 18, 2023 in Mclean, VA.

McLean, VA - AAAEA Capital Area, the local chapter of the Arab American Association of Engineers and Architects (AAAEA), held a successful workshop on March 18, 2023, at the McLean Government Center in Mclean, VA. The event brought together engineers, architects, and professionals from a variety of industries to discuss the future growth of the organization and develop a roadmap for the years ahead.

The workshop was well-attended by over 25 participants who engaged in lively discussions, sharing their expertise and ideas on how to strengthen AAAEA Capital Area's mission and vision for the future. Attendees were also treated to a keynote address by Dr. Ebtissam Oraby of the George Washington University who shared insights about the influence of Arabic language on the engineering, architecture and the technology sectors.

"The workshop was an incredible opportunity for us to come together as a community to share ideas, collaborate and work towards the future growth of our organization," said Khaled Masri, President of AAAEA Capital Area. "We're thrilled with the turnout and enthusiasm from our members and are excited to implement the ideas and strategies that were developed during the workshop."

The workshop covered several areas of focus, including membership growth, community outreach, professional development, and networking opportunities. Attendees participated in interactive sessions and brainstormed ideas on how to enhance each area of focus.

AAAEA Capital Area plans to use the insights gained from the workshop to develop a comprehensive roadmap for the organization's future growth. The roadmap will outline key objectives and strategies that the organization will implement in the years ahead to strengthen its impact in the community and support the professional development of its members.
